We have received a few notes inquiring about making Flats Nation-inspired flags for the various coastal US States. So, the design inspiration hit, and Dave created a couple of drafts for your review and to vote upon! 😁
Some coastal US State Flags (like some Countries) are difficult to design, much less produce, with the lack of open space for those to work very well. An example of a few would be the States of Hawaii, Louisiana, and Mississippi, which have some great Flats Fishing. Still, it might be hard to incorporate the various Flats Nation Trademarked wording or logos that would flow artistically on them. We will have to keep working with those as time passes, but if there is enough interest, we will be most happy to work further for those fans and friends of Flats Nation living in those awesome States. 😊
At present, we have the first two that we have been working on, and we would like to get the votes of "The Nation" to see if there is any interest in carrying them in our Store in our standard sizes of 6x9 inches up to 3x5 feet much like you can now review and order by clicking Here.

The Great State of Florida! Here is our early design for our home State, which by many accounts is the birthplace of the sport that started in The Keys, especially when it comes to the art of Saltwater Fly Fishing.
Next is the Great State of Texas! As many know, Texas is an extraordinary State to go Flats and inshore Fishing. It has many miles of skinny coastal water to chase after most of the targeted flats fishing trophies like sea trout, redfish, tarpon, and even some good snook fishing due to the milder water temperatures in their more southern locations. The Lone Star State has a great Flag in its rich history but also in design and balance to draw inspiration from, and we like how the early design has turned out for Texas.
