As mentioned before, it took some time to find the correct product and supplier for our concept Flats Nation Performance Hats and feature set to work in concert with our other Technical wear.

After years of experimenting with various types of hats, we confidently identified the features we needed. We were tired of getting roasted in the sun and sweat running into our eyes while making that next quick cast with previous designs. 🙄

We are thrilled to announce the introduction of the first two colors, White and Light Grey, for our new product the Flats Nation Tech Hat in our store! 😎

New Flats Nation Tech Hat
Help blend in like the clouds or an Egret. The fish are looking up!
New Flats Nation Tech Hat
Help stay cooler while better blending into the various background sky conditions with these!

These stand out from your typical mesh trucker hat (which we will soon have in the Store) and provide a welcome relief when you're taking on farm animal-sized fish or other speed demons while on the Bow or wading the flats in 90-plus-degree heat!

Here is the feature set we wanted, researched, and inspected before selecting these. Let us know if you agree...

  • White or lighter in color will help fend off the heat while adding to the cloud/sky effect you already use in your other clothing to help blend into the sky background.

  • Low crown

  • Lightly structured, moisture-wicking, lightweight materials.

  • Pre-curved Visor

  • Sweatband style along the bottom edge. That Bonefish or Tarpon will only give you a few seconds to make a cast; the last thing you need is more sweat running into your eyes!

  • The crown has no mesh material, so guys with thinning (or no) hair will have even greater protection from the Sun. These are UPF50+ rated!

  • It employs a fully adjustable Hook/Loopback back strap to find that sweet spot just for your comfort level! This is unlike others that use snaps that seem or feel either too tight or too loose as the day progresses.

  • Black under the bill to help reduce glare from spilling onto the back of those polarized shades you spent a small fortune on.

And who knows, it might just become your new favorite hat to wear, not just your "Lucky Fishing Hat"! Just like our face shields, it's one of those must-have items you'll turn back to grab if you accidentally leave it behind! 😉

Plus, we will have other types with our logo for more all-around/casual wear soon! We understand if you want to save this one just for fishing! 😎👍

And a big shout out to Outdoor Cap and Logo Sportswear for going above and beyond to help us with this project!

Plus, we are working on other clothing and gear and should have them in the mix soon! Finding the right collaborations and (quality) suppliers is not always easy, and we have some great ones right now.

Also, the rest of the "Flats Nation" Merch and Swag collection, if you like our content, has some new works, from T-shirts to our newer Technical wear, which can be found Here:
