Keeping some things clean in life is just a royal pain! Yet, in this case (if neglected), it can simultaneously become a safety hazard inside your automobile windshield while (also) being very hard to reach!
So why fight it? This is where that old saying, "A Man is only as good as his tools," comes into play, and there is no need to spend much (around 20 dollars at the time of this writing) to accomplish the job. And why I use the "Glass Master Pro combo." Which works well when used with the right kind of glass cleaner (more on that later)
Install one of the microfiber bonnets over the triangular tool head and use some quality glass cleaner. Even those hard-to-reach corners are now within reach from the driver or passenger front seat and knock out the inside of that glass with that plastic fume film that makes it hard to see when driving into the sun or at night in a storm, a thing of the past. It works great for all the other glass in your vehicle, both inside and outside, and when you need to reach the middle of the outside of the windshield!
Speaking of a glass cleaner spray, I have found that the blue stuff most of us have used over the years tends to leave streaks and is not one I prefer for automotive applications unless it is all I have on hand. I have found much better success and fewer streaks using CARPRO Clarify Streak Free Glass Cleaner.
It also smells great (like bananas) without all that vinegar type of scent and something else you may also like to save just for your automobiles. Use the Blue Stuff inside the house, and the Glass Master Pro also works great for that big bathroom mirror!
