We’re always honored to hear from friends and readers who enjoy the photography featured throughout Flats Nation — especially when they ask if they can use one of our images as their desktop wallpaper.


So, we’ve gathered some of our favorite photographs into a free collection of Flats Nation PC wallpapers and desktop backgrounds for you to download and enjoy. We like to think of these images as “Places You Would Rather Be” — a little visual escape for those days spent working from home or staring into the blue-light glare of a sterile cubicle. We’ve been there too. 😎

Nikon captures it → Lightroom finishes it → Flats Nation publishes it.


We use a variety of great Adobe products to edit our media content — you can give them a try too by clicking the picture!
Flats Nation is proud to be an Adobe Influencer, using Adobe creative tools—including Lightroom Classic—to process and prepare much of the photography and media featured throughout Flats Nation.

Much of the photography featured throughout Flats Nation is captured with our longtime workhorse, the Nikon Z6, and NIKKOR Z lenses, then processed and finished in Adobe Lightroom Classic. You can read more about the Nikon Z system we use in our Nikon Z Camera article.
